Several folks have called recently and asked about the books we put in our reviews. All of the reviews from the Library List are for books coming out in the following month. At the end of the review, you’ll see a date such as (6-23). That means the book comes out June 23. Check with us after the publication day and we’ll probably have the book.
We’re excited about beginning Children’s Programming next week. This year, of course, is unique. For the first time, we won’t have programming in the library building. There will be activities in the parks and take-home sheets filled with things to do and crafts to make at home. New sheets will be available each week. Programming will continue for seven weeks.
Ms. Natalie will hold Preschool Story Time in Caldwell Park each Tuesday at 11 a.m. You’ll find her near the gazebo. While you’re there, take a Storywalk around the park and read the book of the week.
Here are a few things you can look forward to this summer:
Again, we want to thank you for the goodness and kindness you all have shown us. Several of you have even made masks for us to wear. Sweet patrons bring us snacks, too! Every single person who has come through our doors has been understanding about the new rules which are in place temporarily during this pandemic. We appreciate you and plan to be here to help you get home with books, magazines, CDs and DVDs.
Come in and check out a book, or call us and we’ll meet you in the parking lot at noon and five pm.
